This chess piece collection was inspired by the extravagant beauty of the French Queen Marie Antoinette. They brim with a delicate femininity and soft sensuality. A complete twist for a game known for its masculine appearance. This was my very first year being apart of The Centre for Creative Arts Wearable Arts Show. I had no idea what I was doing, I just knew I had to be a part of it in some way. At the time I was very unsure how to make the outfit to go with the masks that I had created so I reached out to Deena Cloutier who had her own corset line.
